810 Edge with HRM-Run

Hi,

I can't seem to get my 810 edge to discover my hrm-run chest strap, after a search it says Heart Rate Sensor Not Found

I also have a 735xt watch, which connects just fine to the same chest strap?

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this is the case with the edge 810 and hrm-run, but I've read somewhere in this forum that there's an issue between old head units and new sensors, which comes from old devices not supporting new ANT+ id numbers (new numbers are longer than old numbers).

So apparently the battery was dead on my strap, ha! Working now, and also it's working with my watch, I dread to think how long I've been wearing the strap and it not been actually communicating with my watch. Ah users.. aren't we the best.
