I have had an original Garmin speed sensor on my bike for a while and it has been working fine, paired to a Garmin Edge 1000 . The battery was renewed a few months ago so that's not an issue with the sensor.
On my last ride I noticed the speed reading wasn't coming through on the garmin edge towards the end of the ride.
I've unpaired the device, taken the battery out, and repaired the device.
Used the bike on the turbo this evening and was working fine again but stopped providing a speed reading after 5 min of working?
Anyone had this issue or got any ideas?
Or am I looking at buying a new sensor?
