My Garmin Touring edge ( for which there does not seem to be a specific section here) continuously fails to complete a map update.
The original micro SD card 16 GB still has original maps but at the preparing stage fails as the card is noted as “ incompatible” with and error stating I need a card with at least 4GB and maximum 32 GB
i have purchased and installed a 32 GB card which runs the updates for many hours and continuously fails with an error of “ there was an error installing the update” with no further details or solution provided.
i have seen forum recommendations to uninstall the Garmin software and reinstall which I have done but without achieving anything.
this is now frustarting as the new card has no maps at all and my original card only has outdated maps.
please can you assist
