Speed sensor not pairing, data not showing during ride.

Two problems here: Cadence sensor pairs with Garmin but Speed sensor won't. Neither shows up on my watch when riding but will show on my Garmin activity once complete. Anyone have any tips for either issue?

OMG I wish I had read these issues before I purchased one yesterday. Mine arrived and it will simply not work. I can see the Blutooth device as speed and cadence in my settings but the Garmin app will not receive from either. JetBalck app (My trainer for the bike) can see both but only speed will transmit currently.

Zwift can see both but only speed will transmit. I have de installed and install the apps one at a time and it makes no difference if the phone has all apps on or just one. The sensor pairing is flakey. Also the Garmin app is disgraceful. Totally non intuitive.
