Garmin speed sensor 2 not waking up

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently bought a spinbike and a garmin speed and cadence sensor 2 kit to start zwifting.
The problem is the speed sensors works only when I remove the battery cap and place it back again(starts blinking).
I’ve paired it with garmin connect and it says the battery is full.
That’s quite annoying everytime I’ve to remove the battery cap to start my daily training.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Garmin replied to my email.......Remove the battery, put it back in the wrong way round and leave it for at least 1 minute to reset the sensor then put the battery in the right way round!

It seems to have worked for me! Let me know 7279903 if it's fixed yours? Thanks.

Same: brand new, used it once just fine, a week later it won’t register speed. Says signal is strong, but always says connecting......

Same for me. Brand new last week worked fine, this week.....says Connecting.......no speed recording. Can’t even get it to connect... really frustrating. Footnote: I’ve tried the reset battery thing to no avail.
