Cadence Sensor 2 not Pairing on Certain Bikes

Hi,

I recently bought a Cadence Sensor 2 for my road bike. I have an Edge 1030. The sensor is not detected by the 1030 when it's on one bike but it's detected on the other road bike. Garmin already sent me a replacement sensor but the problem remains.

I need help. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Do you have any electronics on the other bike? Like for example an electric motor? I'm asking because the only reason that comes to my mind is that something on the bike is interfering with the radio transmission. If the sensor works on another bike, then the sensor itself is fine.

Only a Garmin Speed Sensor which works on that bike. No electric motor or other electronics.
