Speed Sensor 2 Firmware Version

Hi,

what is the last Firmware Version for the Speed Sensor 2 .

After Pairing with the iOS Connect APP there is an information about a Firmware Update, but nothing happened.

I have Firmware 2.30 .

Would a Firmware Update also available in Garmin Express over the Edge 830 ?

The image above is for the previous generation of magnet-less speed sensor, ANT only. This device cannot be updated in the field and comes with whatever software was installed at the factory (Model 9)

How did you Update? My Connect App on iOS show me still Version 2.30. Do you have a screenshot?

The newer dual protocol unit ANT/BLE (Model 15) can be updated in the field as is currently at software build 2.30.

And why is the cadence sensor 2 not upgradeable too? I thought one of the value added purposes of bringing dual ANT/BLE sensor to the market was too allow bi-directional data flow, thus FW upgrades.

ANT+ is also able to push firmware to sensors, but sensors don’t get that much updates.
