Bontrager Duotrap S and Garmin 810

My integrated Duotrap S won't work with my Garmin 810 (latest software 6.30) The cadence sensor seems fine but the speed sensor is picking up the gradient setting on the Garmin. Tried a second Duotrap but still no joy? Is the Gramin 810 not compatible or can anyone suggest a fix?

The Duotrap is connecting via the same "channel" for both speed and cadence. Have you tried running a magnet past the speed pickup to confirm there's no speed reading (when standing still)? One of the common problems we see are people positioning the magnet at the center of the duotrap's pickup. Needs to be towards the outer edge.
