rename Speedsensor 2

is there the possibility to rename the standard name of the Speed Sensor 2 in Connect Web or Android App as all other devices from "Gen3 BSCM" to something other?

in Connect Web i get a error message as you can see in the screenshot, on Android App it isn't possible, cause there i can't find an option!

I have multiple speed sensors for different bikes and renaming them would make life easier

that means, it isn't possible till today, also with old sensors?

The old sensor only had ANT+ and couldn't connect to my phone

I hope this is what you're looking for. I just got a 1030. I have an outdoor bike and an indoor trainer bike. They both have a speed and a cadence sensor.

I just paired the sensors, and if you can rename them while pairing, I missed it.

1030 Main Screen >>> 3 bar menu bottom left .>>> Sensors >>> This gives you a list of all of your sensors. >>> select a sensor >>> select the "Name" line with the sensor's ID# >>> now you can change the name.

It doesn't seem you can edit, only delete completely and enter the new sensor name. So if you want to keep the ID#, write it down or memorize it, and if you mess up before you've selected the check mark, just hit the "X" to back out and start over.

Hi all… well as of today 5/8/23 you don’t have to write down the id to remember it. The sensor information is preserved under “sensor details”.

I renamed all my sensors and I can see all their IDs under the details.
