Auto speed sensor calibration: how do I know it worked?

Hello,

I just picked up a new Edge 530 with speed and cadence senors. When the speed sensor is set to auto calibrate the wheel circumference how long does it take and will I get a notification it's been calibrated?

You should get it after riding approximately 1 KM in relative straight line with the GPS enabled.

If you look under the sensor details you should see the size it has computed. If it has not yet computed a size the value will be dashes.

Hello.

I just picked up an Edge 530 that came with the speed sensor as well. I have a couple questions.

1. When paired, it seems to show up twice in my list of paired sensors. Once as an ANT+ and once as a BLE. Should I have both enabled?

2. Currently I just have the ANT+ enabled and have done one ride of approximately 1 hour on MTB trails. No long relatively straight line parts of the ride, so this may be the answer. But under sensor details I don't see anything about wheel size.
