Speed sensor accuracy (magnetless)

Hi,

I'm using a speed sensor (magnetless) paired with a Garmin Forerunner 920XT. I usually ride a loop around a street in my city, and I'm pretty sure it each loop measures 9km. Now that I'm using the speed sensor, each loop measures about 8.5 to 8.7 kms. The wheel size is set to Automatic (it is calculated now to 2184 mm in my 920XT), I paired it with my Zwift account and it meaures the wheel size to 700x25c, which is the correct size.
So my question is if I should try to manually set up the wheel size? Is there a way to verify the .fit file and check the GPS data vs Speed sensor data?

thanks!
  • well at least we found the root cause of the problem :)... I bought it mainly for indoor training, so its not a big deal for me to disable it when riding outside.
I will keep making tests, thanks for your support!
