Garmin Cadence sensor on Garmin 1000 no flashing light

Hi This does not seem to want to pair. Both batteries changed in the speed/cadence sensors. The speed sensor is working and the led is obvious on the top on the unit.
But the Cadence sensor is not working, where is the led on this unit, because it is not flashing I cannot see where it is supposed to flash as it is not obvious to see

My experience is the cadence sensor is the most difficult to connect, and the easiest to go to sleep. I find that slowly rotating the crank arm is the most effective way of waking the sensor.

I have attached a picture with the location of the LED added.
