Speed sensor serial number

I just got off the phone with Garmin support and they're sending me a new speed sensor. The email they sent asked for the serial number of the speed sensor. Is that the number that shows on the Edge 520 when I look at the sensors I have paired with my edge?

You can disregard the request for the serial number. The speed sensor does not have a serial number. The number you see in the 520 is the sensor ID.
