I don't have a VSHR but from what I've read, it won't work because the VSHR only transmits and won't receive ANT+ signals.
Initially, DC Rainmaker mentioned that it was a feature that had been turned off by Garmin on launch but that was later corrected. It seems the VSHR can't receive ANT+ signals and probably never will.
