• RE: When 5x not in use

The HR turns off within a few seconds of your taking the watch off, and should restart as soon as it detects movement AND skin close to the sensor.

In terms of reconnecting, (at least on Android), I go to the Bluetooth settings page on the phone, - I don…
  • RE: 230 vs 235 - If you could purchase it again

For all of you that own the 235, how happy are you with your purchase
I've been using my FR235 for the past three months, and I'm happy enough with it to consider buying one for my girlfriend when she's ready to replace/upgrade from the Fitbit Charge HR…

Interesting. I have received my F5 late August and wear it every day, with about 45 mins in the morning and about 2 hrs in the evening off the wrist to give the arm some air. I cinch it tighter (one notch) to go running, mostly to reduce movement to the…

First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to put together your feedback on your experience so far. We of course wish that you had a more positive experience, but we value all feedback as this helps us improve moving forward. Not just with…

  • RE: How to turn off the manual lap button

Thank you to whomever suggested that I wear the watch on the other wrist, that's a great idea, but I tried it and I just cannot get used to having it on my right wrist, having always worn watches on my left. It feels so odd that I just don't want to…

Don't want to upset the Garmin fans in the discussion...

Here's my five cents' worth. I have now run with 3 different devices: Microsoft Band (yes, indeed - the first one!), Fitbit Surge, and now F5.
As with all conclusions, from all participants…
  • Garmin 735XT+: the modern performance watch we actually want and need?

    Hey Garmin (and fellow users),

I've used the 955, 255, 945, and even recently tried Coros - but I keep coming back to my old 735XT. Why? Because it nailed what really matters:

    • Slim, lightweight, comfortable

    • Reliable GPS, multisport tracking and…
