Exactly yes, thanks for that TomasMelbourne. routeCourse gives you all the benefits of the https://dynamic.watch platform for broad route import flexibility, mobile Planner, wireless downloads, etc, but lets you use the built-in map and activity features…

Ok, I've been working with MapView and MapTrackView for about a year now, and rule number one, is if the sim and device differ, trust the device!  On the device you have a number of things like the map settings, and true local maps.  In the sim, it…

In an ideal world, the maps you created the routes with should not matter, all we would look at is the via points and create a new route on whatever map you currently have selected.

Unfortunately that is not how it currently works.

Trying to follow along with your suggestion to use Gamin Connect Web but what is it (or just connect.garmin.com)?  I'm at connect.garmin.com looking at my activity, but I don't see how to open my activity in that view. I open the activity, I can see the…

You are maybe mixing up things. dpawlyk is talking about

You have 3 type of track with each its own color:

    -    Navigation - purple - could not be changed. As far as I know it was only once the old Oregon, where they allowed it.

    -     Preview, permanent view…

    Hi Falagar,

    To answer your questions:
    1) Yes, when I first opened it, it asked for the export folder (which previously was a mapped network drive). The dialog box that comes up ignores mapped network drives. Instead I had to go through the Network structure…

Sounds like eight might be the limit. I've never tried that many, but will experiment myself. Also, I had just placed the photographs on the maps and never thought of using the EXIF file, which I believe that I can edit using Photoshop Elements.
