Watch using ANT+ doesn`t establish connection (in simple terms)  with accesories, it listens signals from devices. "adding" device to watch is just configuring watch to do not ignore broadcasted data from certain ID.

    So battery "drains" are caused…

That's an issue to raise with the developer of that battery app. Looks like there might be something wrong.

    Hi,

I know there are several threads dealing within battery problems, but I did not find a similar issue.
I own my fenix 5 (latest update) since march this year and I was always happy with it - especially since I never had any issues with battery life…

Yes, happening also to me. It's like the Fenix got suddenly fever and loses his power very quickly.
Now I have found a normal battery drain with keeping Airplane OFF after full charge and reset.

Hi - thanks for your reply. So are Garmin replacing your replacement watch again, or do they think it's a software issue? Sounds pretty annoying! My battery drain is occuring night and day. Only getting a few hours (losing 1% every minute or two). Contacted…

Philip - yes - rebooted as per #5; holding down the power button and doing a full reboot. Nothing else changed on the watch other than using Galileo in the GPS options. A 90 min run this morning resulted in avg of 8% an hour battery drain. This was about…

I wear my 970 for sleep and workouts, but I wear another watch during the day. I was getting annoyed with my 970 constantly buzzing for notifications when I wasn’t wearing it, so I started turning on “Do Not Disturb” mode every time I took off the watch…

+ another for battery drain on my Fenix 6x pro Solar after 16.60 update. Battery drain now about 2% per hour, so if I project the trend I'm down to around 2 days without any activity tracking. Disappointed

kapusticka does the Compass use GPS on the 130 or is there a separate compass as in the Fenix range? Are you getting large battery drain you don't say what is making you think that GPS is draining your battery?
