• RE: Adding a Shot Manually with S70 - Why Is It So Much Harder Now???

I’ve only had this watch for about a week and it’s already pissing me off! I paid $600 for this thing and it’s not user-friendly at all.

First, it loses connection with my phone at very short distances (can’t even leave my phone in the…

  • RE: Any way to add POIs on a really, really long tour made in a different route builder

I am not familiar with Kamoot but would imagine it must also support "Course Points" (sometimes also called Cue or Cuesheet entries). Once added to the course these will show on the course map, will display at the bottom of the screen as you roll over…

  • RE: Garmin killed the runner in Forerunner

I went from a 225 to 635M and have to agree the 225 was more generous with distance. Not a huge difference, and I can't even tell which is correct, but I can see the annoyance if you run 10Ks competitively and are always a little short.
  • RE: The points for the challenges do not make sense. I can run a 5-k and earn one point but I only get one point for running 50 miles in a month. It seems like it takes a lot more effort on some challenges than others for the same number of points.

A 5 km run gives one point. You must do it during one of 3 days.

50 miles is 80 km. Divide that by 30 days and you get 2.6 km/day. That is a short distance for most runners.

Divide 80 km by 5 km and you get 16 days. Any days during the month.

    I wouldn…

  • RE: Sunrise/sunset time discrepancy

Also just in case people aren't aware, sunrise/sunset events can change by a minute or two just by driving a very short distance. Depending on where you are on the planet, driving 13 miles west will reduce the sunrise/set times by a minute, and driving…

    Hi,

I bought a 645 (non music) about 3 weeks ago and it has been working pretty well up until now (except for measuring distances a bit short).

Last night the watch froze and I had to reset/reboot it to get it back again. Since the reboot it has not been…
  • Fenix 5s notifications w/wi-fi

I just got a Fenix 5S non-sapphire w/o wi-fi. Coming from a wi-fi Apple Watch, I was able to see notifications from any area of the house because I was on the wi-fi network. While I love my 5S, I find that if I step away from my phone for just a short…

I have a vivoactive hr, and my calories burned is way wrong. In 5000 steps or 2.8 miles it says I burned 6400 calories..no way. I know the resting calories is part of it, but no way is it accurate. I'm 6'5" and 260 lbs but that leaves roughly 4000 calories…

I did a 4 mile run on Saturday and the Recovery Advisor gave me 89 hours. Has anyone else had such a high recovery time in such a short distance? The reason I ask is because I am doing heart rate training and the sensor on the 235 isn't reporting the…
  • Pace graph on in Garmin Connect is incorrect

The graphical presentation of pace on Garmin Connect appears to be incorrect. The pace curve is nearly flatline. There is a callout box that appears to correctly report the average pace. But the curve shows pace either slightly slower then the reported…
