• RE: Vivoactive 5 Golf GPS Wrong

I am having the same issue with my vivoactive 5 watch.  The distances are always shorter than the GPS on the cart or phone app.  Usually short by 10-15 yards.

  • RE: Data field: Flexirunner

Yes please, if you can reproduce the crash, let me have your email address via PM or the CIQ contact developer link and I can send you a debug version to try.

Did everything look okay on GC afterwards too?

Yes, lap pace will probably be erratic at first…

GPS has position errors that can cause short term fluctuations in the speed readout, the gradient readout to be less accurate and the auto-pause to trigger when going slowly under tree cover. The errors tend to cancel out over distance so unless those…
  • RE: Pics of Successful Indoor Set Ups - Please post

Has been working reasonably well, no wild inaccuracies. Good enough to play a round on e6 with friends. Distance has been a bit short but better with 3.7, about 9 ft ball to screen, 6 ft ball to r10. I've been setting it on a puzzle box to raise it about…

    Goodmornig,

I'm Luca, a new member of comunity. I'm not an athlete, I simply have some walks with my dog or I ride a bike for short distances (only 15/30 km)

I have a problem with my old forerunner 30: in particular steps are non syncronized in…

  • RE: Respect pace on training plan, how to?

Unfortunately, speed isn't easily measured with GPS over short distances.

Because the interval is brief, I would personally try an run at a pace you feel is in the zone through the entire interval - and adjust the speed up or down for subsequent efforts…

  • RE: is it possible to change size and color of the tracking triangle in the map?

I am 50, I use bifocal glasses and when riding bike I use only farsighted lenses …so short distance stuff is hard to read…I want the option to increase the arrow…I understand that it is always in the same position But It rotate and…

  • RE: Venu 2 counting too many steps

Oh I totally get it. My Venu 2 is also on the fritz for calories, but what I'm saying is mine seems to get my steps right, so it may be yours, or there are other issues with the firmware. Twice the steps is kind of insane.

    Have you tried actually…

  • RE: Fenix 5 comparison to 5 plus

did you get a chance to compare laps/lap pace?

I’ll try to get the lap splits downloaded later as a data table from Garmin Connect, then merge the data so the times for each can be compared directly. I did notice during the run that the F5 was slowly slippping…

It would be worth trying a manual setting. For a 25c wheel, the setting should be close to 2105. The distance being too short and the wheel size setting too big leads to the possibility that the Forerunner is not getting the correct number of sensor triggers…
