I have benchmark within short distance such as within my house or less than 1000 steps. In terms of short distance my note 10+ is much accurate.

That’s definitely not true. I have had 2 Stryd models. The Stryd Live — which I eventually upgraded in firmware to a full Stryd was about 1.3% short for distance. The Stryd Wind I about 2.2% short for distance.

I found issue GPS record short distance on Garmin935 but for fenix 7 distance over. 

You have to run more often, slower and longer distances.
Short, hard runs will not so much as long slow runs.
Ideally you should do your runs with HR in zone 2 for long time.

I think that pace and short distances bug affect also open water activity.
