Once you enter the widget the real temperature is displayed.
But a glance on the widget show you only the first digit in a two digits temperature display.
12° look like 1° for example.

I've noticed the training plan feature on my Edge 840 only shows 1 workout for any given day. It seems to show the first workout it finds (alphabetical order?) and ignores the rest.
