Can't say I suggest opening the case. Doing so could cause the unit to no longer be waterproof, even if you are able to correct the issue. The best thing to try is a voltage check to make sure that the unit is getting a steady power supply.

Don't put your computer into Hibernate :D

I haven't used hibernation mode on a Windoze OS for years because it got to be too much of a PIA.

When the unit boots up press the wrench > the gear icon (may be another wrench) > mouth icon and then change all of the boxes to American English. From there you should be able to see all of the options and set the unit to what you want.

I had the same problem. When i tried another computer to upload the track it worked fine.

It's not obvious, but look three lines below the subject (two lines below the date and time, one line below the "by:" line) and there's a line that you can edit for notes.
