One running workout and two days of wearing. This release seems stable.

The improved workout screen is actually pretty good, it shows current pace in larger digits once you are in the range. Intuitive.

GPS - no improvement from previous version, same…

I’d wrongly assumed workout mode was looking at instantaneous pace but after doing a long interval mostly climbing I suddenly started to descend. Expected to see my pace fall rapidly but it didn’t. I flicked to another screen where I had Current Pace…

toddsdn - you might want to try looking at lap pace in combination with current pace to get a good idea of how fast you are going at walking speeds.

There is the also the question of where you are doing your activities. If near tall buildings or under…

If you have a screen with lap time, lap pace, current pace then you can look to see what happens! After 20 secs lap pace should then be different to current pace.

200 or 300 metres is obviously a bit longer (well for most of us!) but makes sense as lap…

All below from GPS as all are distance based which comes from GPS if on regardless of speed source setting:
    average lap pace?
    - lap distance?
    - total distance?

From foot pod in your scenario:
(current) pace as a standard data field
Any CIQ data field for current…

The current pace shows the nearest 5 seconds when you use Garmin FootPod too. I noticed that in this morning and yesterday run.

There is. Take a look in the manual and you'll see how to set up one of the data fields as Current Pace.
