Sorry I meant update version 8.12. Log into Garmin Connect on your laptop, register the watch, connect your watch using the charging cable provided (USB), then you can download the update
If you have the charging cable with you, turn off the watch, and press and hold the upper button while you connect to power. Release the button after about 15 seconds.
wow, that's quite counterintuitive and I'm puzzled why it's happening. I may actually try to increase the brightness for the next charge just to see if I experience the same behaviour.
South Carolina. Did a hard reset last night, charged the watch fully. Took 19 hours, and it was completely dead again. No activities, no GPS, just wearing it around the house.
I don't have any battery issue.
I need to charge the device two times more often than before, but I'm not sure it's a device problem but not my activity changes.
My Lily 2 stopped tracking Heart Rate, Stress Level, Sleep and Body Battery since the last charge. They are very important features for me and it's frustrating not having them work properly!
Hi -
I have just purchased a Garmin Vivoactive 5 and the incorrect charge lead appears to be boxed, what I received is a USB 2.0 lead which is not compatible?
regards
Ciaran
Follow these steps on their website and that will work fine as well: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=7fCcn2grL97Nb5LrzFPMw9
Escpecially the fully charged and connected to an usb port helped for me.
I think my Venu 2S uses a lot of battery overnight as well. I had the original venu and the batter lasted much longer. I feel like I'm always charging this watch
