On at least some device, the locationName will also show in the Garmin weather widget.
And search the discussion forum of threads about observationLocationName, This isn't the first time this has come up.
1. Did you do "Simulate data" in the simulator?
2. Are you using classes supported by your device? (FR45 is CIQ1, I think, despite being newish. SensorHistory at least is CIQ2+)
it appears to create a csv file which you then have to convert to a fit file using the sdk. At least that's my impression reading through the forum link for the app
Thanks for the feedback--I'll get this reported and see what we want to do to address these. At the very least, we can update the documentation to lead people around these roadblocks.
....which device would you developers prioritize as the one that needs attention first?....For me, the simulator. If the simulator matches the device then we can at least work around any other problems.
And a limit of, I think, 255 globals. In my case, the issue was the # locals in the calling function. At least by changing 16 into two 8-element arrays, it eliminated the issue.
You really should be asking this in a tread about the specific app you are using, or at least mention the app.
You can also user "contact developer" for the app in the store.
