So may be it's like jmto said in the 1st posted answer, only for another hardware revision .

I had 2 installs as well, one for 9.6 and one for wifi

I don't know which revision of 945 I have, but it does have the musical note on the "down" button and not chevrons.  Does this mean I have a 'D'?

At least it's working for you! My wife received a revised LT after her threshold run last night and it did not transfer to Garmin Connect (she has the FR255 running 15.19).

How old is your watch? What is the serial roughly. I have 7EG.... about 1500.

As my guess it's some HW revision thing. Also didn't notice any mention about GPS update in anywhere.

  • HRV in Physio True up Now?

    S.M.R.
    S.M.R.

Has anyone factory reset their device recently (since the revisions to Physio True Up). I am interested to know if HRV and the other metrics that weren't carrying forward before now do?

    Thanks!

I returned the first one to Garmin. Secend one is much better, while it is actually revision 1. The muttons feel onlyslightly different but there is no double clicking or stickiness when pushed in.

Mine has been stable at 0.08% per hour through several firmware revisions, including 4.06 and 4.10. Usage is higher during activities, of course. Did a 4.5 hour run today. It used 20 percent of the battery life.

I’ve gone ahead and turned off Move IQ now too. I kind of appreciated the events that would pop up (mostly walking) but since those don’t count as activities or toward badges anyway, didn’t seem to really revise any value.

  • BUG REPORT - selecting "Resume Later" keeps the GPS turned on

    3826824
    3826824

For version 22.24, when selecting "Resume Later" after stopping an activity the GPS remains on even though the activity is suspended and the watch face is shown. This is not the intention of "Resume Later" and was not the functionality in previous revisions…

  • RE: Ridiculous GPS inaccuracy on running track

    StarHunter26
    StarHunter26

I was using track mode.  I revised my text accordingly. Even with road/default profile, 200 meter error is still a lot.  What I want to say is that the track profile was fine before the update.  The FW18.23 just ruined everything.
