Garmin Glo 2 not connecting to other ipads.

Dear All,

I recently purchased a garmin glo 2 and it has recently stopped connecting to all but one ipad. I've tried everything - from software update, hard reset - anything that was available on the web. It is becoming frustrating as I have become limited to one ipad operations only.

Any help would be appreciated.

  • I would give the Garmin Aviation Support team a call at 866-739-5687 and see if they have any suggestions!

  • Try forgetting and re-pairing the Garmin GLO 2 on the iPads that aren’t connecting, resetting network settings, and ensuring compatibility with iOS versions. Also, check for Bluetooth limitations and test with another app. If the issue persists, Garmin forums or support might have a solution. Hope this helps!

  • The issue of a Garmin GLO 2 connecting to only one iPad, despite troubleshooting, often points to a problem with how the Bluetooth pairing record is being stored or cleared on the other non-connecting iPads. Since the GLO 2 is working on one device, the unit itself is likely fine. On the non-connecting iPads, be sure to not only attempt to pair, but also go into the Bluetooth settings, find the GLO 2 in the list of "My Devices," tap the info icon ($\text{i}$), and select "Forget This Device." After doing this for all non-connecting devices, perform a soft reset on the iPads, and then try pairing the GLO 2 again. If the problem persists, it may be worth checking if a recent iOS update on the non-connecting devices introduced a compatibility bug, which might require waiting for a new iOS or GLO 2 firmware update.
