I am looking to do a replacement from an old gps155 to a gps175, in a cherokee 140 and all of my equipment is old analog stuff (ie, King Kx125 nav/coms, KMA20 audio panel, etc) I'm trying to figure out what all the shop will have to deal with to get audio cues (e.g "approaching waypoint", etc) to evaluate their bids. For example, will a Digital/analog converter be needed? I will be adding a new digital CDI (perhaps a G5) and there is no autopilot to worry about, so I THINK the audio is the only thing. But maybe it doesn't do audio cues anyway? So Basically, I think this question amounts to "is there an analog audio output on the gps 175?
If I could get my hands on a GPS175 installation manual, I wouldn't need to ask.
(I would also like a GTN650 installation manual, but that's just for reference for a different airplane I already have the GTN installed in. )
