Garmin Pilot download problems

I like Garmin Pilot, but I'm close to just using Foreflight going forward due to Garmin's longstanding issues with slow database downloads.  Garmin can blame the end users all they want, but the problem is well known, widely reported and unresolved.  When does Garmin plan to get serious about addressing the problem?

    I should further clarify ... by "slow" I mean that the app will show "All up to date" when selecting the Downloads menu option. It will then go through several cycles of "Checking Downloads", reporting each time "All up to date". However, after several minutes it may then indicate that new downloads are available and begin downloading those updates.  The point is that you can't really believe the "All up to date" status message. In order to make sure there are no updates pending you need to leave the app open for several minutes with an internet connection before it will show reality.  This behavior is the same no matter which device I use, (phone or ipad).

    Hello! Have you ensure that your device operating system (iOS 26 or Android 16) is the most current version and that your Garmin Pilot version is 25.11. If you continue to experience the slow updates, please give Aviation Product Support a call at 866-739-5687 so we may make some additional troubleshooting efforts or get engineering involved if necessary.
