16.22 Reduced Battery Life

**UPDATED - this is still present in 16.22 (production), despite temporarily being fixed when I rolled back to 15**

Is anyone else seeing a reduction in their Marq 2 battery life?

Without GPS activities, I could always get 6 days Always-On use out of my Athlete, but since Christmas I've noticed this seems to have reduced quite drastically down to about 3 days with like-for-like usage, with no CIQ apps/faces.

I should say that I'm running the latest beta (and have posted this feedback in the beta forums), but I've also had this issue running on the release versions. I've tried full resets, but that doesn't seem to have made a difference.

FWIW, I've had my Marq 2 since October 2022.

I assume you have checked this, but anyway:

You have checked that you do not have a corrupt .fit file on the watch?

Restarted with long press? Sometimes I have to restart my laptop, holding the off button for at least 30 seconds to ensure that all circuits are out of power, and all processes stops.

Yeah, I've tried soft and hard resets, all to no avail.

Same here, it’s using up to 33/40% per day with everything off. It’s like is fallen off a cliff

To update: I rolled back from the beta to the production firmware, restored from backup and my battery life seems to be back to normal. I don't know if this was a beta issue, or maybe just a corrupt file that got overwritten when I rolled back, but all now looks good so until there's something tempting in the betas again I'll just stay on prod.

I'm bumping this again as once I reverted from the beta to 15.77, my battery life was back to normal, but now I've updated to 16.22 (prod), I'm yet again seeing my battery life reduced by about 50%.

I'm having the same issue with my Enduro 2 and battery running down like 10% in a day with no GPS activity (mind you, the watch is not even 4 months old and previously would drain like 2-3% in a day) ever since the 16.22 update pushed out. The bluetooth connection is also quite unstable since the update, disconnecting and reconnecting to my phone seemingly at random throughout the day, frequently disconnecting at night while I'm sleeping with it on, which was never an issue before. it's like something in the update messed with bluetooth performance.it's also really hard to get it to pair with my phone for updating stats in GarminConnect...I wonder if this is why my battery is draining more quickly...?

I can't get more than 4 days on 16.22 anymore, while I could easily get 6 - 7 days before on 15.77. What I find concerning is that my aviator literally dropped 15% in 2 hours while doing nothing. It was just sitting on my wrist with the default watch face. Not sure what happened during this time. I guess I'll have to disable phone connection and WLAN on the watch again, that usually mitigates the battery issues.
