Heart rate problem during activity!

Today I have been in the gym and I have noticed a weird heart rate issue with my watch. During the strength activity, the watch cannot picked up my elevated heart rate just after 50 minutes or so when I finished my training. The avg. heart rate was during activity between 75 -95 and after 50 minutes went up to 115 but I don't think that was an actual heart rate. I had an issue with the heart rate during activity but not as much like now. I'm using the latest beta 2.92 fw. I have tried clean the sensor, tight fit, light fit in my wrist but nothing helped.
Please, Garmin could you finally fix this issue! ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1450637.png

my mi band 2 was more accurate than my Fenix 5

Different weight, different size, different sensor, a watch and a band will move around your wrist differently based on design. It all comes into play.

I do not agree. I tighten the band so it cant move a mm. Bought a instinct and its much better. I think all fenix 5 models have something wrong with the hr. Garmin changed my fenix immidetly. They know that something is wrong with them

    I do not agree.

How do you explain the 935 which is a Fenix 5 in a much lighter plastic housing? You don't have to agree with me. You're posting on a forum, so you obviously have internet access. Do an internet search and find out for yourself. While you're weeding through all the articles that confirm what I said, maybe you'll be able to find one that contradicts it and proves me wrong. Or do nothing and simply continue to disagree.

I have the same issue and now 3 times it completely stops altogether during activity. I also wear a chest strap and it still stops working. When I took the watch off to see if the sensor was still on. The sensor was completely off. This watch is less than a month old.

  • If you begin an activity when you are wearing a paired chest strap, your Instinct OHR will turn off and the watch will read only the external source.  If you are seeing these "stops" are you always wearing a chest strap?  If so, you might have an issue with the strap (battery ??) or the connection.

My Instinct seems to keep reading from the chest strap even after the activity has ended, until the strap is removed and distanced from the watch.
