Instinct Solar Tactical Edition Not Powering.

My Instinct Solar Tactical Edition Watch stopped Working. The watch updated couple of hours before it was struck and then switched off. I have tried following:

1. Charging it for one full day. Watch doesn't switch on. But, Watch heats up.

2. Pressing Ctrl Button for 30 seconds also doesn't power on the watch.

3. When I connected the watch to laptop, I briefly saw the USB logo on the watch and it vanished. I couldn't see it mounted on to laptop.

What might be the issue?

For charging the watch, I would recommend cleaning the contacts on the back of the watch and cable. We recommend using rubbing alcohol for this. ]
Try connecting the watch with a wall outlet, as well as a computer. If you have not already, we would also recommend trying another cable.
If this is still not working, I would recommend trying a factory reset with these steps:

Ensure the watch is powered off.
- You may need to hold CONTROLfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
Press and hold SET and GPS.
Press CONTROL to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
After the first beep release GPS.
After the second beep release the remaining button.

If the watch is still not working, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support.
