Instinct Solar turning off randomly

Same here. 

My guess that this can be fixed with a batch. But there is no hint.

Well their solution was to replace the watch. I wish I would have know this was an issue with smart watches. A few other forums mention this issues with other brands.

What if you want it to vibrate?  I've had this issue a lot lately too.  Only when I start activities, as I don't use the alarms, etc.

Had my Solar Instinct 11 months and it has just developed the same fault, randomly switching off. From the link below it looks like a known fault, solution is to get it exchanged. I have emailed Garmin, currently waiting on a response. Will let you know how I get on. Hopefully as it's inside the 2 year warranty they will replace it.

Tested this case and it looks like the battery issue. I replaced the battery and the problem is gone. Probably old battery not capable to deliver enough power when vibrate is on in different options. At least mine shuts down when alarm or timer was active with vibration. So battery replacement fix issue but replacement it self is not easy job :) it helps.

I ended up sending it to garmin for a replacement. I never used vibrate or phone notifications. I think I got the replacement from garmin for 60% off since it was outside of the warranty.
