Does anyone have a Quick Start Guide for an Instinct Solar watch? I have lost mine and Garmin can only send me a link to the PDF and I want one for the field.

    If you mean the small booklet that came in the box, I would contact support again, preferably via phone call, and explain to them what you're looking for.

    That's the one. Unfortunately, I did contact Garmin by phone and they said they could not send me a new one and to download the PDF. It's 76 pages and I was looking for something I could take in the field. I have not begun to use my watch and am going on a 3-month trip in a few weeks and was going to learn as I went.

    Another option to consider that I have been doing with each new watch I own until I get the settings memorized enough to change my settings as needed while using it, Instinct Solar manual in .PDF form to your smartphone.

    For all intensive purposes, your smartphone is more-or-less a handheld computer. Also, download the Acrobat Adobe Reader from either Google Play or the iOS APP store. You will then be able to view your manual at any time regardless of how rural you are hiking and using your watch.

    Your phone won't require a cellular internet connection to view what is downloaded and read through the Adobe Reader. You can have your phone on Airplane Mode and still view your manual on your phone.
