Indoor running and HRM Pro plus

I wonder if Instinct Solar works normally with HRM Pro Plus and measures distance and pace when running indoors (treadmill...)? Does anyone have experience with this?

The only overall benefits your Instinct Solar is able to provide you, due to it being the first generation of the Instinct series and released 5+ years ago, is equivalent to wearing a HRM-Dual strictly for your HR metrics.

A HRM Pro+ would be fine with the Instinct 2 series and you would gain all the benefits of the HRM tech built into the HRM strap along with your watch training abilities.
