I have the impression that barometer doens't work properly in mode Automatic after update 18.10.

Continuing what I've said before, if you want to mesure your Altitude put your barometer in Altitude and if you want to know the barometric pressure variation, put it in Barometer. In Automatic mode, both the altimeter and the barometer values fluctuate a little meaninglessly. Does anyone has suffered the same problem?

Everyone has been complaining of the same thing. I downloaded the 18.41 Beta version and it seems even worse. Just doesn't seem there will a proper fix for it.

Honest question: why don’t more people downgrade to 16.50 and turn off automatic updates to have everything work properly?

Fair enough. But why have to do that? Surely Garmin can come up with a solution. We all spent lots of money buying a watch that is supposed to be working as advertised and haven't enough people complained about the same thing.

Do the versions after 16.50 get you any desirable features?

That is besides the point. We spent money on watch that should work. Would you be happy buying a fancy car but none of the features work. As I said enough people have complained for Garmin to take note. We need not have to downgrade to have watch that works.

You chose to upgrade. If you regret that decision, you should downgrade to 16.50.

I came here looking exactly for a way to do this. I'll browse the forum because this is a mess. I need the altimeter on my watch. That is basically the reason I got this instead of other watches.
