Any have battery issues with 17.50?

I just got my Instinct Solar on Thursday night, charged it up and it updated to 17.50. Its not Saturday afternoon and its at 50%, This watch was supposed to have good battery life hence why I bought it but at this rate it won't do 4 days. I'm wondering was it this update or something else going on.

There is currently major issues with the 17.50 update. Battery drain and Altimeter issues is the most common ones. A fix will eventually come but I think the main focus is Instinct 2 at the moment.

Same issue. The watch is 3 weeks old. Yesterday the battery usage drop from 21 to 12 days without any other settings.

Hello, here my report. I got an battery issue during activity. Before the activity the battery charge check was enough to do many activities but I didn't finish one. Just one occurence for the moment.

I was experiencing similar rapid battery drain issues with this update too. I rolled back to 16.91 and things were much better. Then I switch Settings->Sensors and Accessories->Compass->Mode to OFF and suddenly battery life is excellent. Worth a shot if you don't require compass to be on...

I was always getting battery life of 17 or 18 days. As soon as I updated to 17.50 a full charge only shows 13 days. This update decreased my battery life.

Have you tried turning off the compass in setting, as per my 'Answer' reply, above? Would be great to know if it helps. Night and day for my battery life on 16.91

I have not because I use the compass and I have always left the compass enabled in previous versions. I appreciate the suggestion though.

Same here. Getting 2-3 days of power, tops. I've been wearing the watch everyday for over an year and never had this kind of problem before. Running the 17.50 update.
