Text Alerts

My Instinct Solar will not show text alerts from my iPhone. It will show calendar and other alerts but not texts. I have enabled the notification alert on both iphone and Instinct solar but still they are not coming through. Any ideas for trouble shooting? I have gone through the Garmin manual and enabled the appropriate settings and gone through various youtube videos but none have solved the problem.

Can you go to Settings > Notifications > App Notifications in Garmin Connect app on your phone and check whether notifications are enabled for Messages app?

If you are still not receiving only your incoming text messages, please review this article:

If you have confirmed all your settings are correct in your iPhone's Settings > Notifications menu and your issue continues, try a hard reset on your watch by holding down your top left CTRL button until your watch shuts off and power your iPhone off then on again if you always leave it on.

If still no incoming text, remove your watch from the Connect Mobile APP > More > Garmin Devices menu. On your iPhone, use "Forget This Device" in your iPhone's Settings > Bluetooth menu. Delete your Connect Mobile APP, install it again and Bluetooth pair again.
