Does you Instinct Solar capture and sync one-time Pulse Ox data?

I wanted to see if anyone could confirm that Pulse Ox data was supposed to be syncing to Garmin Connect.

I'm on firmware 16.0 and with the sleep monitoring of Pulse OX, those measurements sync correctly. However, if I take one-time measurements thru the day, those measurements do not seem to sync to GC. However, on the GC Pulse Ox Help screen, it indicates that the capabilities are device specific.

There was one question kinda on the same topic 11 months ago, but no answers.

Is the one-time Pulse OX data supposed to sync to GC?

I had an online chat with Garmin Support on Thursday, but he was not able to confirm. Yikes!

  • It also doesn't work for me for one-time measurements. I'm also in favor of it syncing.

  • So I talked with support again. His Instinct Solar is confirmed not to sync one-time pulse ox samples, and also none of the documentation confirms or denies that one-time data is supposed to sync. So he said he's requesting some followup information. I guess that is it for now.

  • Maybe is the most accurate answer I can provide you.

The Pulse OX spot check feature is intended for one-time use as needed during elevation training and when you are mountain climbing. It makes sense you are provided the reading directly on your watch but whether it also needs to sync and be later seen in Garmin Connect too, is up for debate. I will be happy to add you to the customer request.

I have sent you a Private Message to gather more information to add you to the tracking case.
