Band

Has anyone found a good canvas, nylon, cordura or even leather replacement band for the Instinct? I’ve heard regular 22mm bands pop out due to the Instinct having slightly wider mounts. I really do not like the factory band for comfort. Was looking at getting just getting a canvas band from the “all watch bands” web store, and hoping the Garmin lugs will fit.

I've been using this one for a year now. easy fit and quick drying. The stock band irritates my skin.

Hello,

If you go to Coros website and select the Accessories for the Coros Vertix, you can use their bands on your Instinct. I am using the gray/black velcro band and love it. Now, here is the trick:

The Instinct's pins are the push-pin type, and they are slightly larger than the Vertix. So what I did was push the pin into the band connector, then reattach to the watch. it's tight, but once in, they work fine, and can be removed by reversing the procedure.

The alternative is to replace the pins with a screw-type pin, which is slightly smaller.

Thats it, and gives you three or four nice color bands.

You can find identical stuff on Aliexpress 2-3 times cheaper. I guess Amazon sellers just source the same stock from China and just add their margin.

I've bought 2 bands so I can change them between washes. Quality is ok, will see how long that velcro lasts.
