Strange lap after stopping

Hi all,

My Instinct (v16.00) has the auto lap mode enalbed (every 1 km). Today I did my run of exactly 6 kms. After stopping it (right on the 6.00 kms spot), I have seen it recorded 7 laps instead of 6. Strange enough, it reports the following (both from Garmin Connect and the watch itself):

Opening the FIT file, it reports the following for the "lap" lines:

  • lap 6: "2/11/2021, 12:36:54" in "timestamp", "293.941" in "total_elapsed_time" and "total_timer_time" columns (which is correct)
  • lap 7: "2/11/2021, 12:37:09" in "timestamp", "4294967.19" in "total_elapsed_time" and "total_timer_time" columns.

The "records" lines instead are correct (lap 7 has only one line). Total activity time (from FIT) is "1768.227".

The 7th lap reports "2.83" for "total_distance", which could be correct (stopping it like 2 meters after the 6.00 stop is acceptable). What is wrong is the "total_elapsed_time" that kinda bugged.

What could be the cause of this issue?
