Hello,
Since my watch updated to 15.40, the battery indicator shows inconsistent value (> 150 days) when in battery saving mode.
Is that known issue ? Does someone has the same behavior ?

Mine shown 54 days with battery saving mode.
Yes, it's happening with my watch as well. Battery is draining but number of days are above 300.
When you are in power save mode and receive frequent solar charging, your battery life will become infinite. Consequently, I do not put too much weight on the number in battery save mode since you can indefinitely keep your Instinct Solar in that mode without needing to physical plug your watch into charge.
Thanks Chris,
Still looks like a lack of precision to me. Especially that I put my watch in saving mode only when there is no sun, being inside for a long time) But agreed this is not a big deal.
I encountered the same issue with the watch in default power mode (I.e. not in power save mode): the number of days always drop 2~4 days overnight with "Sleep Pulse Ox" off. This morning, I've been sitting in front of my desk working, yet the number of days dropped 3 days again. Last night before I went to sleep the number was 35d, now it is 29d. During this period of time, I did NO trainings/activities.
Before the upgrade, it used to be very consistent & accurate: every day the number drops one (or two, if I use GPS for walk etc. for a long time).
Btw, I also noted that, before the firmware upgrade, the days after full charge was ~27d, now after full charge the number is ~38d.
I really hope that the watch can give me a more accurate estimation as that will help me decide when to charge the watch and if I should bring the charging cable with me when I set out for a multi-day travel.
It seems that a power cycle (turn the watch off and on) fixed the issue.
My battery indicator has stopped working since the 15.40 update. It just shows 25d now all the time. In battery save it shows 66d. I've rebooted but no change. Now running the watch until it dies - maybe it needs to recalibrate the battery?
Solved my issue. My sleeping Pulse Ox measurements had been turned off somehow. Doubles the battery life it seems.
