It's been reported several times but the wave counting (surf function) on the solar instinct surf edition is completely unusable.
If I download the activity and upload it to a 3rd party app the wave count is super accurate. Therefore it is not a problem of the GPS accuracy but one of the used garmin algorithm.
I mean this should be fixable super easy and I am really surprised that Garmin is selling a premium watch for premium price with the main feature to be completely useless.
Don't get me wrong this is otherwise an absolute fantastic watch (battery, features, other sports)
Does anyone know how to complain to garmin about this feature? couldn't find any information on the homepage so far
