battery drops fastly since this week (only last 2 days instead of 12)

I have the newest Beta 11.76 with

GPS 4.80

BMX 1.0.3

BLE/ANT 2.10

SNS 4.00 (from the Beta Zip Folder)

WHR 1.00.03

I have the same Issum! Yesterday at 17:00 the Instinct Solar were at 100% and showes me 12 Days left. Now one Day later at 21:00 i have 6 Days left at 48% capacity. I testet the SNS 5.00 with no difference.

I am running the 11.76 now to see if it is any better

My versions are the same as yours, also running the SNS on 5.00

I will keep informing here...tomorrow

Now at 21:00 it's back to 11days. (20/11)

UPDATE: 16:29 It's back to 2 days / and low battery warning - asking to go in battery saving mode. (22/11)

UDATE: 06:49 DEAD, nothing anymore, blank screen

QUICK MATH: battery goes for about 62hours going from 100% (12 days) to 0% = not even 3 days. 

I will keep updating till it's dead then try to roll back to software 10.10 see if that makes any difference 

Now at saturday on day 2 at 15:00, i have 2 days left on 16% accu.

So the results of the test were that fully charged the battery lasts for about 62 hours. See previous post.

It means that every 5hours there is a day going off the battery

Now recharging and will try to roll back to Software 10.10 (if I can find it) -ANYONE has a backup form previous software versions?-

Hope to see improvement or at least how it used to be.

Monday  23 nov :  8:30 - Charging from 0%

Monday 23 nov:   11:45 - Charging done 100%  (still running 11.76 /  didn't find a roll bak version yet)

 ---> Had contact with service, but nothing more than asking me to do a soft reset..... and they proposed exchange

Tuesday 24 nov:    9:40 - 8 days left (from 12 days with full charge)  

Thursday 26 nov:    8:10 -  2days left and Battery LOW warning! / asking to go to battery Save moode.

----> Got reply from support to do complete reset / remove device from account / remove from bluetooth / restart completely
       Will test this morning and update here

Ok,

So yesterday I had answer from the support:

--> hard reset - remove the watch from the app
- remove the app from phone
- in Bluetooth on phone also 'forget/ delete the watch'
- reconnect through Garmin Express
- restart everything

26/11 - 16:00 / Fully charged 100% / 12 days

27/11 - 14:31 / 10 days left (after 22 hours watch time)   -- This looks more promising but still have to wait for full result

30/11 - 9:45 / 4 days left (after  almost 90hours)  So it has improved my battery live at this point but still drops too fast.

30/11 - 12:25 recharging and will update to v12

30/11 - 16:35  charging is teriibly slow, after 3 hours from 30% battery to 68% ---  38% charged in 3 hours / means it allmost would need 12 ours for complete charge (on pc)  -  software version 12

1/12 - 9:00 continue recharging since I had to pause it. Battery dropped about 7% since the previous charge 68 % -> 61%

1/12 - 12:15 Fully charged 100% / 12days will restart the test from this time on in new post

2/12 - 12:09  10 days left  - sadly no idea of percentage since it's not shown that way would be nice to have this 'option'

3/12 - 14:24  8 days left  -  seems like the constant of 2 days dropping instead of 1

4/12  - 15:03  3 days left  -  Dropped battery life by 5 days in 24hours!

5/12 -  20:44  LOW - woke up this morning with only 1 day left. Now it's showing LOW status. Strange thing; normally I get a warning when there are 2 days left... This time it did not happen. Waiting till it's completely done and then do a restart and try again.

6/12 -  17:11 Woke up with dead battery, put it on charger right now. Screen pops up and shows me 6:10 / 100% ???
            --> I guess it died on 6:10, but the 100% is weird since it was dead and just came up immediately after conecting the charger

           --> after that the screen went blank again, after pushing u button only the battery Icon showed up.

           --> few minutes later screen shows 6:15 and 0%

Calculation: 100%  --> 0%  in  114 hours = 4,75 days

comparison 12 days is 288 hours

Test from last week on V12

improved the battery life a bit but still not what it should be!

Closing the test, sending the watch back today. 

On 12.10 RC and I see a faster than usual battery drain. Will monitor for a week. 

Today I received a letter from Garmin to send the watch back.
So I will monitor still the battery untill tomorrow and then post back the latest results.

I proposed to have it one month longer on test, but they never replied on that.  

Since I had battery times of 2 days and now of 6 days??? so I guess it has more to do with the software instead of hardware.

Anyway, watch will be send out.

Yesterday received a complete new watch (thank you Garmin!)

So I will put all settings like they were before.
