Surf session recorded...?

Got a new Instinct Solar Surf Edition watch and recorded my surf session today but I don't see my session anywhere in the app or website. I think I did everything right but I'm new to the watch. Did it perhaps now save...?

    Can you see the session on the watch (scroll to the Last Activity screen)? If it is there, it was saved. You can also look at the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ on the watch, to see whether the corresponding file is there. And when connected over the USB cable, open Garmin Express and sync the data, if the syncing over USB did not work.

    Thanks for helping. This was all Day One and Activity One for me so I'm a total noob! (I don't even know how to "look at the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ on the watch". I'll learn).   I was able to see that the activity WAS saved to the watch (Phew!) and I found an article about Garmin Express and syncing to my desktop via USB. That worked. I'm still concerned that the activity didn't sync via Bluetooth. I'll add that once I got the activity on the desktop it did eventually sync to my phone, but perhaps that was via the cloud to my phone, and not from my watch to my phone via Bluetooth. 

    Again, I'm a noob, after just switching from the Fitbit world, and I'm learning!
