Hello Garmin community!
The Green LED used for heart rate, and the Red LED used for O2 sensing are programmatically able to be controlled in frequency and intensity.
In situations where a primary flashlight is not available, the ability to select a mode that would turn on those LEDS to be use either as a flashlight or as a signaling device would be very helpful.
I would request a flashlight mode where the user can select Green or Red (or both), and select steady on, and the intensity thereof. I would also request a SOS mode (three short, three long flashes) and also a general strobe mode.
This would be of great help and desirability to several classes of users. An added bonus would be an estimation of remaining battery when in such mode.
