How can I add activity like surf on my Instinct Solar (model not surf)?

I guess you will just get back another refurbished Fenix. If you have the 'true black' display, I would not do this. Garmin's hardware design is fine, it's parts sourcing that sometimes messes things up…

The surf activity doesn’t work anyway, so don’t waste your time. Surf trackr 2 on my old vivoactive3 was heaps better than the official surf activity on the Instinct Solar Surf. Their algorithm for detecting waves is trash and I consistently log 30-40 waves when I really catch 6 or 7.

It happens the same to my fenix 6. Also the tides are wrong. Im thinking to send it for guarantee because its a very expensive watch and works bad.

Perhaps Monkey C doesn't encourage good practice coding, and I guess they also use that on their own widgets and apps, bar perhaps some parts of mapping.
