I purchased this device to use as my everyday.. I like the long battery times. Everything works great, and even doing 7+ activities a week, the battery lasts nearly 3 weeks without a plugin. One of the things I like is that it can do updates using garmin connect from the phone, as I use a chromebook, and can't run garmin express on it.
I've been very happy. However, between my activity on 8/18 and activity on 8/19, I updated from 9.40.0.0 to 10.0.0.0. These numbers and dates are based on recorded activities in Garmin Connect. I did get a notification, and everything seemed fine. On Friday (8/21) I noticed that I didn't seem to be showing any solar activity. I restarted the device but it didn't help. My battery didn't seem lower, so I looked up online and saw some people were having solar display issues, and I read to look for an update (don't ask me where).
So i decided to install garmin express on my work computer and see if there was an update. Sure enough, it told me there was an update. I did it. and nothing. Well that evening I went out for a 30 minute bike ride, and now I got no GPS. My instinct recorded the whole time.. I have my heart rate and time, but not gps data. This activity lasted 26m57s.. which I think should have been enough time to get a signal.
So yesterday I went out with both my instinct and my fenix 5.. thinking maybe there was some interference or something goofy.. but no.. the instinct did the same, and the fenix recorded perfectly.
In reviewing my about info I see:

I've completely reset the watch, deleted all data.. not sure what to do next. My next option is to go exchange it at Best Buy (surprisingly, i have 1 day left on their return policy).. but wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions before I try.
