This is may second Instinct Solar because the first one that i bought wasn't even capable of completing a sync and was crashing if you navigate the menu to quickly. So i took it back and got a new one. The new one seems to be ok. But its not. Today i tried to navigate a 30km mtb course downloaded thru Garmin Connect. The watch restarted itself like 4 times in the first 3 hours and about 6 times in the last 15 min segment of the track (that involved a very agressive and quick descent). So that makes me think that is has problems with big speed or altitude variations maybe? I don't know but its not acceptable. Its an expensive (for me) survival watch that you should be able to rely on. I don't want to take this one back to only to find the third one acts the same. I am really sick of changing 3 watches in less than a month. So can anyone here tell me if this is a hardware fault of my watch or is this a software issue that will be resolved in a future update?
