Garmin Instinct E - Lack of features

Question

Dear Garmin, 
 you&rsquo;ve made huge mistake by ignoring your loyal users. For example my wife needs Garmin Instinct (w this screen is important) in size 40mm. 
 you have made only Garmin Instinct E in this size but you cut very important features from it. Training status, Regeneration time. On Watch faces bike km, run km, regeneration. 
 what should we do? We can&rsquo;t buy Garmin Instinct 3, because it is too git (smallest size is 45mm). Why did you do it? Why you&rsquo;ve made small watches without full functionality comparing to Garmin Instinct 2S? 
 Why?!?!? 
 
 Please explain to us what should we do now?

 Why not, if she was happy with it. You can also try calling the Support again, and ask whether they can replace the I2S watch for a refurbished one. Usually they have no problems doing so, for a fee, though the conditions may differ from country to country. 
 Anyway, the battery may still be all right. I gave my Instinct 1st gen (7 years old), and Instinct 2 (3&frac12; years old) to my friends, and they both still work. Sometimes, it is just a problem of the battery gauge calibration, or a problem of the settings, or pending updates, that cause the quick discharging. Have a look at the Troubleshooting guide for high battery drain for some tips, that may often help fixing it.
